Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about cybersecurity assessments, support, and insurance readiness.

Why do cyber insurance claims get denied?

Most claims are denied due to overlooked requirements like MFA, endpoint protection, or incident response planning. Our readiness assessments are designed to help you avoid these pitfalls.

What’s included in the cybersecurity assessment?

A 90-minute session with a senior advisor, vulnerability audit, policy review, dark web scan, and a prioritized action plan for your leadership and IT team.

Is the discovery call free?

Yes, the discovery call is free and designed to scope the work required for a full assessment. It helps determine how long the process will take and what it will cost.

What industries do you specialize in?

We work primarily with accounting firms, law practices, financial advisors, and small to mid-sized businesses in regulated industries.

Do you offer support after the assessment?

Yes, we offer extended consulting and ongoing support to help implement recommendations and monitor risk exposure over time.

How do I know if my business qualifies for cyber insurance?

Our assessment helps you understand where your current policies might fall short and prepares you for underwriting with documentation insurers look for.

What happens after I request a breach report?

Once you submit your domain, we run a secure scan across known dark web marketplaces, breach databases, and hacker forums. Within 24 hours, you'll receive a confidential report showing any compromised credentials or data tied to your business. If anything is found, we'll offer remediation options—including risk scoring and password reset plans.

Can I book ongoing support without an assessment?

Yes—if you already have a clear understanding of your needs, you can jump straight into a support agreement. However, we strongly recommend starting with an assessment to avoid surprises, scope the work accurately, and align expectations. It helps ensure your business isn't paying for services it doesn’t need—or missing risks that matter.

Do you resell software, or only advise?

We do both. As a Sophos and Dropsuite partner, we offer bundled security tools—like endpoint protection, cloud backup, and email filtering—as part of our managed packages. But we’re vendor-agnostic when it comes to your best interest. If your business is already using tools like Microsoft Defender or Google Workspace, we’ll build a plan around what you have, not what we sell.
